Gwent League
Cwmbran Chess play in the Gwent chess league. gwentchess.org.uk .
We are currently enter three teams; In division one – “The Crows” and two into the second division . The Rooks and The Ravens.

Family friendly and sociable
We pride ourselves on being an open and friendly club. We have many junior players mixed in with adults of all ages. Everyone is welcome at Cwmbran Chess Club.
We play in church hall rather than a local pub or room in a social club so we can control the environment and safeguard members.
